Normal Skin:

Oily Skin:

Oily skin usually presents with enlarged pores and tends to have blackheads, whiteheads or pimples. Oily skin is a result of our oil glands ( sebaceous glands) over working and producing too much oil. If within a short period of time after washing your face your skin seems shiny again, than you have oily skin.

TREATMENT:

Treatment encompasses two things: Clinical skin treatments combined with at home care using products specifically designed for oily skin.

Problem Skin:

Problem skin usually presents with acne and coarseness as well as blotchiness or blemishes. Blackheads, whiteheads or pimples are usually present as well. Under stress the skin may become more irritated causing redness and some discomfort.

Treatments required may encompass medication and clinical skin treatments. Usually some type of anti-biotics are prescribed and in sever cases Accutane.

TREATMENT:

Combination Skin:

Combination skin is dry with the exception of the T-zone ( forehead and down to the nose). So basically a course of two treatments are needed. A course of treatment for the oily portion and a course of treatment for the dry portion.

TREATMENT:

A combination of our Purifying and Seaweed Facial. A deep pore cleansing and exfoliation treatment concentrated on the T-Zone followed by a cool soothing contouring seaweed mask which will moisturize, tone and defuse redness. The result is a healthy glow to your skin.

FREQUENCY: Every 4 weeks.

Dry Skin:

The appearance will be oil free and lack moisture. Often the skin will appear flaky and dull. There is a tendency for lines around the eyes. Because of a lack of collagen production the texture of the skin will appear fragile with a tendency to flake. The skin lacks hydration and may even have a grayish undertone.

TREATMENT:

First and foremost, your diet. You must drink plenty of fluids. We recommend between 6-8 glasses of water, fresh vegetable juices and ample sleep. However, you must treat your skin clinically.

THE HISTORY OF BODY WAXING: AN ANCIENT METHOD USED FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS

The quest for a hair-free body dates back as early as the caveman era. It is written that thousands and thousands of years ago men shaved their faces using rocks that were sharpened.
